Dear Friends,

After twenty years Live Bait Theater will be taking a hiatus from producing as of September 1st and handing the keys to the theater over to The Artistic Home Theatre.

Be it a solo show, a new play or our doodle benefit, we couldn’t have done it without the support and generosity of our audience, our artists, our funders and our theater community. We want to thank you for your help and friendship over the years.

As for as our future plans, we hope to continue our Fillet of Solo Festival at another location, development of new work and our outreach programming.

If you want to contact us, we will be keeping our current email, snail-mail address and phone numbers intact. We plan to revamp our website and create an archive documenting our 20 year history. So log onto www.livebaittheater.org and check our progress over the coming months.

Any rental inquiries should be directed to Kathy Scambiatterra and John Mossman at The Artistic Home Theatre: 630-247-7145.

Thanks, Sharon and John, for so many wonderful memories of shows that were as delightful to see as hear.  You set our imaginations on fire because you spared yours no less.  We're all the better for your superb make-believe!

Gratefully yours,
Larry B.

Sharon and John: Thanks for all the great theatre and the all the sacrifices you made for audiences and actors. What will you be doing now? We should get together soon.

Bob Calvin

Best of luck to you Sharon.

You are one of the first people I heard speak at a League conference some years ago when I first entered the theater community.  I've always thought of you as someone who is so creative and formed such a unique theater for this community.  I don't think we actually ever met - but I've enjoyed watching from afar what goes on at Live Bait.

I look forward to hearing about the company's further adventures.
